Fairway

Fairway Draft respects your privacy. This policy explains what information Fairway Draft collects, why it is used, when it is shared, how long it is kept, and the choices available to you. Fairway Draft does not sell personal information, serve third-party advertising, or track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Information We Collect

• Account information: your email address or Apple private relay address, authentication provider and identifier, and public Fairway @ handle.
• Optional profile content: a profile photo if you choose to upload one.
• Gameplay information: lobby membership, invitations, friendships, drafted rosters, tournament selections, scoring, results, and notification preferences.
• Safety and support information: reports you submit, related profile handles, optional report details, and messages you send to support.
• App-functionality information: a device notification token when you enable push notifications and limited technical request information needed for security, delivery, and service reliability.

How We Use Information

• To create, authenticate, secure, and support your Fairway Draft account.
• To provide friends, lobbies, invitations, roster drafting, scoring, results, and notifications.
• To display your handle, optional profile photo, and relevant gameplay information to people participating with you.
• To investigate reports, enforce safety rules, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and maintain service reliability.

When Information Is Shared

Your public handle, optional profile photo, and relevant lobby or gameplay information are visible to other Fairway users when needed for friends, invitations, shared lobbies, standings, and results. We also provide information to service providers that operate authentication, hosting, database storage, backend processing, and push notifications on our behalf. These providers may process information only to deliver those services. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, Fairway Draft, or the public.

Service Providers

Fairway Draft currently relies on infrastructure and app-delivery providers such as Supabase, Render, Expo, Apple, and their supporting networks. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple processes that authentication and may provide a private relay email address according to your Apple Account choice. Apple may also separately process App Store downloads, purchases, diagnostics, or other information under Apple’s own privacy terms.

Retention and Account Deletion

Account, profile, friendship, notification, and gameplay information is generally retained while your Fairway account remains active so the app can provide your games and results. Pending safety reports may be retained as needed to investigate abuse, protect users, document enforcement, or meet legal obligations. Limited security and service logs may also be retained for a reasonable period for fraud prevention, reliability, and legal compliance.

You can permanently delete your account in the app by opening Profile → Settings → More → Delete Account. Fairway then removes the Auth account and account-owned data from active systems, including the profile, uploaded profile photo, friendships, direct invitations, notifications, and account-owned gameplay records. Information that another user independently provided, de-identified aggregate information, legally required records, or limited backup copies may remain until no longer needed or until the applicable backup cycle overwrites them. Backup copies are not used to restore a deleted account except when required for disaster recovery.

Your Choices

• Update your handle or optional profile photo from Profile.
• Connect Apple to an existing Fairway account from Profile → Settings without disabling your email and password.
• Change notification preferences from Notifications or Profile Settings.
• Report or block another profile from Profile → Settings → More → Reporting and Blocking.
• Delete your account in the app, or contact support if you cannot access the account.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect Fairway information. No internet or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

Fairway Draft is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.

Policy Changes

We may update this policy as Fairway Draft changes. The “Last Updated” date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented through the app or website when appropriate.
